Name your towns in plain words, or AI won't know you serve them

When someone asks ChatGPT or Perplexity for "a plumber in Maple Grove," the AI looks for pages that plainly say you work in Maple Grove. A map pin or a "serving the metro area" line often isn't enough.

Today's 10-minute fix:

  • List every town you actually serve, by name, in plain text on your website (not inside an image).
  • Use the same town names in your Google Business Profile service areas.
  • Pick your top town and write two or three sentences about jobs you do there.

Then ask an AI assistant for a pro in that town and see if you show up. If you'd rather not check by hand every week, RecommendedPro tracks it for $39/month.

Do AI assistants recommend your business?

RecommendedPro asks ChatGPT and Gemini who they recommend in your area, and shows you what to fix.
